Cabbage pakoda
Pakoda also known as pakuvada. Pakuvadas are used as tea snacks or as break fast dishes. It is also easy to make at any time. Mixing any sliced vegetables with gram flour and salt and deep frying to brown to make pakoda. Serving with tomato sauze increase its taste
Ingredients
Cabbage - ½ kg
Green chilly - 6
Tomato – 2
Spring onion - 1
Capsicum - 1
Gram flour - ½ kg
Chilly powder - 1 teaspoon
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
Turmeric - ½ teaspoon
Oil - for deep frying
Preparation
Slice cabbage in 2 inch long slices
Chop green chilly, tomato, capsicum and spring onion
Mix cabbage, green chilly, tomato, capsicum, spring onion with salt, turmeric, coriander, chilly mix well
And add gram flour and mix well add some water, mix tight to make it a good batter for pakoda. The batter is not thick or not thinHeat a pan add oil for deep frying heat well
Add 1 teaspoon of batter to the oil and fill the pan with teaspoons of batter
Cover the pan and fry the pakodas
When it is brown at bottom turn and fry.
When it is brown on both sides take out the pakodas and put in a tissue paper.
Cool and serve with tomato sauze and sour chutney
