How to fry bitter gourd
No one like bitterness. The bitter gourd/bitter melon is not liked by many people but bitter gourd fry is a tasty dish when it is oil fry with salt, lemon, chilly etc. If you don’t like bitter gourd, then try this tasty recipe, you will like it most. Even children will like it.
Ingredients
Bitter gourd - 250 gm
Green chilly - 10
Lemon - 1
Chilly powder - ½ teaspoon
Turmeric - ½ teaspoon
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Oil - 5 teaspoon
Preparation
Slice bitter gourd in round thin slices
Slice green chilly in round thin slices
Take juice of lemon, discard seeds
Heat oil in a pan
Mix bitter gourd slices, turmeric, ½ teaspoon salt , green chilly and marinate for 10 minutes
Heat oil in a pan add marinated bitter gourd and stir well, cover and cook, stir occasionally.
When it is fried soft, add lemon juice, salt and stir fry. Add chilly powder and stir fry. Now the bitter gourd stir fry is ready to serve.
