Onion pakoda
Onion pakoda with gram flour
Ingredients
Onion – 10
Tomato - 3
Green chilly - 6
Salt – 1 teaspoon
Gram flour/besan - 1 cup
Method
Chop onion length wise
Chop green chilly in round
Chop tomato in small pieces
Mix onion, green chilly, tomato, salt and mash with hands well
Add 2 tablespoon of gram flour/besan mix well
Add some teaspoon of water mix well
Repeat the process of adding besan, water and mixing till end the end of the mix
The mix is not watery or very thick
Heat a pan add oil for deep frying heat well add 1 teaspoon of the onion batter to the oil, make 8 to 10 pakodas at a time according to the width of the pan. Cover and fry brown
When it is brown on one side, turn aside, cover and cook.
By covering pakodas will cook very well inside and is also soft. Take the fried pakodas in a paper towel/tissue paper on a plate
Repeat the process till the end of the batter
And serve with tomato sauce
