Tur dal, capsicum with tomato recipe
Ingredients
Tur dal 2 cup/350 gm
Capsicum 2
Tomato 2
Onion 1
Garlic 4 cloves
Green chilly 4
Salt 2 teaspoon
Turmeric ½ teaspoon
Chilly flakes 2 teaspoon
Mustard seeds 1 teaspoon
Oil 30 ml
Preparation
Chop capsicum, tomato
In a pressure cooker add tur dal and wash and add water, chopped capsicum and tomato, salt, and turmeric powder and cook till 1st whistle comes out. Switch off flame. And leave for 10 minutes to cool and open the pressure cooker
In a hot pan add oil, heat well add mustard seeds when it splutter add chopped onion, garlic, green chilly and sauté lower flame, add chilly flakes and sauté. Add 1 big spoon dal water from pressure cooker and boil it to thicken the gravy, and add to the cooked dal.
Now the dish is ready to serve.
