How to cook parboiled rice and raw rice
HOW TO COOK BOILED RICE AND RAW RICE EASILY
FOR BOILED RICE
Parboiled rice grain - 200gm/1cup
Water - 1 litre
In a 1 litre vessel add 1 cup rice and wash 3 times
Fill the vessel with water, leave some space for boiling. Boil the water with rice. Switch off the flame . And leave it for 15 to 30 minutes.
According to the type of rice , the rice will cook between 15 to 30 minutes.
If the rice cooked more than half, boil the rice once more, and wait for 1 to 5 minutes, to reach the softness of rice that you expect
OR
After boiling rice, lower the flame for 15 to 30 minutes till rice cooks soft , and switch off the flame. After 1 minute drain out the water using 3 clips
The rice will be single grained, and very soft and not sticky .
And very nutritious than raw rice because of the presence of copper and other B vitamins.
And not heavy as pressure cooker rice/nondraining rice
This rice will serve for 2 to 5 people
FOR TO COOK RAW RICE
Raw rice grain - 1cup/200gm
Water - 1 litre
In a 1 litre vessel add 1 cup rice and wash 3 times, and soak for 15 to 30 minutes.
Drain the soaked water or not, soaked water have its soluble vitamins.
Fill the vessel with water, leave some space for boiling. Boil the water with rice.
Simmer the flame upto 15 to 20 minutes or more till the rice cook soft.
Don’t cook more.
Switch off the flame.
Drain out the water using 3 clips.
This rice also single grained and not sticky.
Serve this rice for 2 to 4 people.
